William Alfaro passed away on August 14, 2021. Anyone who knows him, knows he was a fighter and showed unbelievable strength through it all and until the very end. William was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and NY Yankee fan. A man of very few words unless baseball was on. Wanted to make a good first impression? Wear a Yankee hat! Born in Costa Rica and then raised a family in New York City. The ultimate girl dad, doing all he possible could for his two daughters, Natasha and Carolina. William’s favorite role was grandfather though. Spent most of his later years taking care of his grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Ethan and Leah whenever he could. They lit up his world, for sure. William will be remembered for his kindness and resilience. He is resting in peace now, joining his mother Ernestina and his brother Henry. We love you, Papi. “Say it.”
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Visitation to Celebrate Mr. Alfaro's Life at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m..
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home.
