Mr. Robert Henry Meyhoefer passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 72 years of age. “Bobby” was the youngest of five children born to Edwin and Mina Meyhoefer in Brooklyn, NY. His childhood included working as a boy soprano soloist for an Episcopalian choir and painting interiors as part of the family business.

Following the war, he spent most of his later years in the Bronx, NY never departing from his love of music and architecture. He was a strong proponent of building community with fellow veterans even though the effects of Vietnam shadowed him for the rest of his life.
He is survived by two daughters and three grandchildren, his sister Lottie and many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends and relatives at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Mr. Meyhoefer will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in a private service.
