Peter Perillo

Peter Perillo, 97, died October 13th, 2020.  “Pietro”, son of Gerardo and Carmella Perillo, was born in Muro Lucano, Italy and was the loving husband of the late Rosemarie Perillo.  He passed away at his home in Cape May, NJ, where he lived with his daughter, son-in-law Ron, and three grandchildren.  He is survived by his daughter Theresa, his grandchildren Jeffrey, Matthew and Peter, his sisters Geraldina and Amelia, and many nieces and nephews.  Peter worked for many years as a cobbler, making ballet shoes for Capezio in NYC, and later as building maintenance worker in NYC.  He enjoyed his job greatly, and finally retired at the age of 87. Pietro enjoyed a peaceful life.  He was a family man and enjoyed spending most of his time with family members.  He will be greatly missed by all. 

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home, 1727 Crosby Ave., Bronx. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Perillo on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Benedict's Church, 2969 Otis Ave., Bronx. Entombment to follow St. Raymond's Cemetery.
