Giuseppina "Pina" Ilardi

Giuseppina (“Pina”) Ilardi was born in 1932, in a beautiful coastal town in Reggio Calabria and grew up in a small town on the eastern cost of Sicily near Mt. Etna.  Pina and her siblings became orphaned at a very young age and she and her five siblings were raised by their older sister.  After being educated in a private school in Sicily she married Salvatore Ilardi, a native-born Sicilian who had emigrated to the U.S at 16 years old, and both emigrated from Italy to the U.S. to start a family.  Pina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by an older brother Alfio, her sister Elena, her two sons, James and John, her daughters-in law Barbara and Susan and her seven grandchildren. Services are Private. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home.
