Elizabeth "Liz" (Iuliano) Giannini

A-Popesella, as her father called her, the little princess, Elizabeth Iuliano Giannini, is survived by her husband Nick, sister Bridget and Bridget's husband, children and grandchildren.

Always a fun-loving spirit with a great smile and infectious laughter who enjoyed life to the fullest with a wonderful sense of humor and a profound inspiration for expressing her written feelings and emotions. She loved family and tradition.

Liz, as friends and family called her, and her husband Nick, spent 34 married years together. In 2018, they renewed their vows and commitment to one another.  Liz also had another sweetheart, that she loved almost as much as Nick; Roscoe, her Weimaraner pooch. He was her baby, but crossed over the rainbow bridge in 2008.

Liz was focused and determined, as proven by her, to become a Registered Nurse, which is a great accomplishment.  That determination and perseverance was tested, but endured in the past few years, first losing her mother Adele, and three months later, losing her father Joe.  She was also dealt a serious blow with the diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer.  She fought this battle bravely, showing a strength of character and courage, that is admirable to all.

It was an uphill climb for her, and she marched forth through every challenge.  A survivor. As Liz journeys forward through this rite of passage, into the second chapter of life, remember her infectious smile, laughter and joyful persona.  She fought the good fight and finished the race.  Keep her forever in your heart and mind's eye.

Elizabeth "Liz" Giannini (Iuliano) passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023.  The family will receive relatives and friends, at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Liz at St Theresa Church on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will conclude at St Theresa Church after the Mass. The interment is Private.
