Alberto La Pietra

Alberto was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Aside from his devation to his

wife Clara, children Giovanna and Orazio, his love for his granddaughters Cara and Jackie and great granddaughters Avellina and Scarlett was immeasurable. He also

appreciated both Marc and Pete who were there to indulge him and listen to his stories.

He enjoyed the presence of Zipper and Peanut running around barking and sitting in his arms.

Alberto was not a complicated man even though his wheels were always turning. Nothing

got passed him. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the fruits of his labor with his family and friends.

He was a good provider and always thought for his family's future.

He enjoyed his early days as the President of the Monte Virgin Society arranging picnics at Glen Island

playing cards and joking with family and friends. Dances at Maestros were impressive.

Mushroom hunting, chicory picking, tomato jarring, pizza, cheesecake, espresso, and anything that

his wife, Clara prepared for him was the absolute best!

He immigrated to this country from Italy with nothing, worked hard and became a successful businessman. He lived to 87 and delighted in a full life, apart from his last few

years. He passed peacefully at home with all his family present.

know Alberto is smiling down on all of us because he loved a big gathering.

Alberto La Pietra passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 and Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 8, 2022 at St. Theresa Church at 11:00 a.m. Mausoleum Entombment to follow St Raymond's Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home.
