My heart is broken.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

I speak for my sons Jay and Thomas when I say we loved this man, he was good man. It was an honor to know him and his family. He is now peacefully with God and there he will be a strong angel to watch over all those he loved so intensely. Thank you Sylvester for all the memories, the fun and I sure hope there is a jukebox with all your favorites songs, turn up loud so you can dance. The chains of this world are broken, be free my friend.

To his loving children Debbie, Sal jr and Anthony - we cry with you.

We are heartbroken to hear of the loss of Sal. Sal was extremely instrumental and generous in supporting and advocating for the needs of the Pelham Bay community. My dad, Michael Crescenzo (past President of Pelham Bay Taxpayers Association) always spoke highly of Sal's generosity and commitment to Pelham Bay.
Dear Debbie, our heart goes out to you and your family.

We are absolutely heartbroken that this wonderful man is gone. That smile, that laughter , there will never be another Sal. He was the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for. Who could ever forget those 4th of July parties!
Through my own family's tragedies he was always the 1st at the door to help.
His love for his children truly was profound.
Debbie, Sal Jr, Anthony & the rest of the family we truly cry with you.

To say you are gonna be missed is an understatement, heartbroken beyond belief. As you would tell me, 'Life is beautiful, but its just not fair" and this wasn't fair. Rest easy in the arms of your heavenly father my pal, till we meet again.....
