Sal Fararo, 89, died Wednesday, May 2, in Pompano Beach, Florida. A longtime Dumont, New Jersey, resident, Sal served on the Dumont Borough Council in the 1980s, taught CCD for many years at St. Mary's parish, and was a longtime Knights of Columbus member. He was a graduate of Pace University and received his Master's Degree from Columbia University. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Jeanette, in 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Kim, and her husband, Bennett; granddaughter, Rori; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fararo will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY
