Giuseppe Messina

Messina – Giuseppe (Joe a.k.a Papa), 86, Marble Setter of Grahamsville, NY, passed away on December 21, 2019 with his loving family beside him. He was born June 6, 1933 in Naso, Italy son of Antonino Messina and Giuseppa Astone. He is predeceased by his loving wife Rosalia, parents, brother Philip and sister-in-law Rosalia Messina; sisters Angelina Messina, Maria Spina and brother-in-law Nicolo Spina. He is survived by daughter Josephine Messina of Yonkers, NY and son Anthony Messina of Yonkers, NY, son Freddie Messina of Myrtle Beach, SC and son Frank Messina of Grahamsville, NY; Son-in-Law Gregory Seda of New Rochelle, NY; Grandchild Angela (William) Porcelli: Great-Grandchildren Amelia and Victoria; Brother Salvatore (Joan) Messina; Brother Antonio (Anna) Messina; Sister Minnie (Antonio) Salerno; and many nieces and nephews. Papa loved his family and doted on his Great-Grandchildren. He loved to listen to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Italian music on the radio. He enjoyed watching the WWE wrestling matches, Dr. Oz; American Idol; Dancing with the Stars and The Price is Right. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

 Family and friends are invited to the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Messina at St. Benedict's Church, on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
