Eleanor Gentile

Eleanor Gentile, passed away peacefully Thursday August 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Eleanor was born May 20, 1934 in Raculmuto, Sicily to her loving parents Salvatore and Josephine Restivo.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Gentile.
Loving Mother of Salvatore and Phyllis.
 
Dear sister of Charles and his wife Joanne Restivo. Adored Aunt and Great Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was a devoted daughter to her parents and a loving Mother who cherished her children and embraced every moment with them . She always was there for family and friends to enjoy happy memories and support loved ones through any struggles.
Her love of cooking made every meal special. 
Eleanor will be sadly missed by her many friends and family, but will never be forgotten.  Her loving memory will remain in our hearts forever. 

The family will receive friends at Ralph Giordano Funeral Home, 1727 Crosby Avenue, Bronx, NY on Sunday, Sept 1, 2019 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm and Monday, September 2 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 1634 Mahan Avenue, Bronx, NY on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 9:30 am.  Mrs. Gentile will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral mass at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
