On September 14, 2018, surrounded by his parents and his fiance`, Anthony Cristiano, went on to be with the Lord at the age of 53. He was born to Pasquale and Rosa Cristiano in Bronx, New York on November 11, 1964. He will be dearly missed by his parents, his loving fiance`, Deborah Russelli, daughters, Arielle and Toni, and brother, Vincent Cristiano. He will also be deeply missed by his niece, Sophia and an abundance of cousins and friends.
During his life, Anthony was proud to attend the Villa Maria Academy and Fordham Prep High School. After excelling in studies, he attended St. John's University. Anthony went on to become a successful Director of Investments at Oppenheimer and Company.
Through his love of music, he had a successful D.J. career and company, T.C. Sounds Entertainment. Many people would remember D.J. Tony C entertaining guests at weddings, sweet sixteens, and baptisms to spinning music at some of the hottest night clubs in New York City. He has collaborated with many producers and worked on numerous remix projects. His vast resources and musical knowledge brought him to radio during the 80's as he co-hosted a Classic Disco radio show "Disco 89" for ten years on 89.1 FM.
His legacy was the love he felt for his daughters, his fiance,family and friends. The support and loyalty he showed to his family was genuine and it was clearly demonstrated to those around him. He had a magnetic personality and charisma that captivated the people around him.
Visitation will be held at Giordano Funeral Home on Monday September 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Benedict's Church on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 9:30 am.
Memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in his honor.
