Rosemarie “Tata” or “Roe” Motto passed away peacefully on Tuesday; March 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a beloved friend, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother during her incredible 91 years of life. Rosemarie is survived by George, her husband of 70 years, and their four beautiful children, Gina, Diane, Rosemarie and Joseph and their spouses, Joseph, Sal and Lisa. They were blessed with 10 grandchildren: Tara, Tommy, Jessica, Angela, Joey, Maria, Frankie, Sal, Juliana and JoJo, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Robert and his wife Julia, and sister-in-law Marita and leaves behind many other family members and dear friends who will sadly miss her.
Born on January 1, 1933 to Carmine and Helen Carozza, Rosemarie’s gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She exemplified kindness in every interaction, radiating warmth and empathy to those around her. Rosemarie’s family was the center of her world. She poured her heart into creating a home filled with love and laughter. You could always expect a warm welcoming cup of coffee and an Entenmann's dessert when visiting the home of our sweet Tata.
In the hearts of her husband, children, and all who knew her, Rosemarie’s memory will live on, a beacon of love and light forevermore. Though she will be deeply missed, the love and warmth she instilled in us will radiate for generations to come.
Save a chocolate for us Tata.
