Philip J. Giordano, Jr., born March 13, 1947, passed away on March 6, 2024, in Boca Raton, Florida. Born in the Bronx, NY, Philip was the eldest of seven children. In 1969, he married Madeline Greco. He served in the US Army, earning the rank of Captain, and proudly served in the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star in 1971. In 1979, Philip and Madeline moved to Middletown, NJ, where they raised their sons, Christian and Brock. Over the years, they lived in NYC and Hamburg, NJ, ultimately residing in Boca Raton, FL.
Philip, also known as Papa, is survived by his beloved family: his wife, Madeline; sons, Christian and Brock; their families, including beloved daughters-in-law Nina and Christine; granddaughters Mia, Mariella, and Lily; and grandson Luca. A big brother, the most loving husband, father, and Papa. His smile, his laugh, and his deep love for his family and friends will be missed but never forgotten.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Theresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
